You don’t fight your car steering anymore, and you don’t struggle with your garage door. The concerns about power mechanisms breaking are largely outdated. Let me explain why.
Benefits of Power Reclining
Hi, I’m David R. Jenkins from The Recliner Point, and today I’ll discuss the benefits of power reclining. Power reclining isn’t just about technology—it’s about enhancing comfort and convenience. It lasts longer because it opens and closes smoothly every time.
For instance, I spend my day working on my feet in boots on a concrete floor for 10 hours straight. When I come home, I want to recline without fully extending the footrest. Manual recliners are either fully open or fully closed—there’s no in-between. But with power reclining, I can stop the footrest halfway, giving me the exact position I want.
Additionally, this power recliner has lumbar support. I can adjust the lumbar to support my lower back. So, while I’m watching TV or just relaxing, I can customize the footrest, lumbar, and headrest exactly to my liking.
There’s even a “return” or “ground zero” button, which resets everything with one touch, bringing it back to the default position.

Who Would Benefit from Power Recliners?
Power recliners are perfect for anyone. Whether you’re 5 feet tall like my mom, who’s 84 years old, or over 6 feet tall like my son, power recliners let you adjust comfort as needed. The smooth operation of power reclining helps extend its lifespan by reducing damage.
